Gracie Barra Bath Academies is a prestigious network of schools, founded and led by Professor Salvo, a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with over 30 years of experience in the art.

Professor Salvo began his journey in Jiu-Jitsu in 1993 and opened his first academy in Sicily in 2004. Since then, he has promoted over 30 Black Belts and has been a sought-after instructor, teaching seminars across the globe in locations such as South America, North America, Serbia, Belgium, Italy, Thailand, and many more.

Under his leadership, Professor Salvo was entrusted by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. and Professor Victor Estima, the Gracie Barra European Director, to lead Gracie Barra South West. This speaks to his high standing within the Gracie Barra community and his commitment to upholding its values and excellence.

Professor Salvo has not only taught but also competed at the highest levels of Jiu-Jitsu. His accolades include:

• World Cup Champion (2006, Blue Belt)

• Grapplers Quest Black Belt Champion (Las Vegas, 2010)

• Two-Time British Champion (2005, Blue Belt & Absolute Champion)

• NAGA European Champion (2010, Masters Gi Black Belt and 2014, No-Gi Elite).
